Place, Race, and Memory is based on the exhibit created by The West Medford Afro-American Remembrance Project Committee. In 2005 – 2006 the committee worked with Tufts University and Brandeis University faculty and students to capture the oral histories of some of the pillars of this community. This exhibit is currently housed within the West Medford Community Center.
